Rafael Correa , Ecuadorian president recently overturned a previous decision and legalized the sale of shark fins if the sharks -- some of them threatened species -- are caught "accidentally". This decision will lead to many illegal fishing boats claiming accidental bycatches leading to major declines in populations and the murdering of 10 of 1000's of sharks.
